Nonprofits often have ideas about new services to provide as well as new methods for providing services. Can these ideas be protected and, perhaps more importantly, does it make sense to try to protect these ideas?

During this presentation, our panel will address:
• How patents, trademarks and copyrights work, what they protect, and whether they really protect ideas;
• The costs associated with registering patents, trademarks and copyrights; and
• How nondisclosure agreements work, what they cover and what they protect.
