Nonprofits often have ideas about new services to provide as well as new methods for providing services. Can these ideas be protected and, perhaps more importantly, does it make sense to try to protect these ideas? During this presentation, our panel will address:

• How trademarks, copyrights, and other types of intellectual property protections work, what they protect, and how to make use of them.
• How nondisclosure agreements work, what they cover, and how they can protect you.
