Has your organization attempted some lobbying activities or are you considering doing so? Learn from some nonprofits who have been lobbying in the Atlanta area for a while. The panel of nonprofit leaders will share their experiences about their lobbying efforts and compliance with the law including some tips:

• What it really takes to get started lobbying;
• What are some of the lessons they have learned;
• How to make sure you stay out of trouble; and
• How do you craft a compelling message that inspires people to take action.

Join us on Wednesday, October 28th at 10:30am at the Foundation Center, and learn how to get started and/or improve your lobbying and advocacy efforts.
